Who We Are
Invicta Strategic Consultants Ltd was founded by Lucy Emma Little, a statutory SEND specialist with 18 years of cross-phase experience across education, social care, and school improvement. From EYFS to post-16 and adult education, Lucy brings a rare combination of operational insight, strategic leadership, and deep knowledge of the legal frameworks governing SEND.
Her work is trusted by leaders across mainstream, specialist, and local authority settings, delivering clarity, compliance, and impact.

About the Founder
Lucy is a qualified teacher, qualified SENCO, and BPS‑registered test user with advanced training in psychometrics assessment, and statutory SEND practice. Her career spans leadership roles in mainstream and specialist settings, consultancy across phases, and contributions to national SEND discourse through publications, policy work, and curriculum design.
She is currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Advance Social Work and Social Care, further strengthening her expertise in complex needs, safeguarding, and multi‑agency practice.
Her professional background includes:

- Development of SEND systems, policies, and compliance frameworks
- High‑level experience with EHCP processes, access arrangements, and statutory duties
- Coaching and advisory work with senior leaders and support teams
